1. Why do Pet Sitting
We ONLY OFFER you assignments that suit your abilities, interests and preferences. You ONLY ACCEPT assignments that suit your lifestyle. You are free to choose!
You can work either Part time.
You have a choice of four different types of work: home sitting, dog boarding in your home, dog walking and cat feeding.
You have the company of pets without the full time responsibility and expense of owning them.
You work for a caring company with an established 6 year record employing over 1,200 staff.
We are a Company, which means you are covered by our employment terms and conditions.
We are Comprehensively Insured with Employers and Public Liability Insurances.
2. Rates of Pay
Whilst you may start with just a few assignments, in time you will build up a regular client base, which means consistent work with familiar pets and regular money. Whilst we appreciate this industry has modest pay we feel that there are numerous other benefits which include:

3. How it works
At first this process may seem a little daunting but do not worry the head office staff will guide you every step of the way ensuring that you are completely in control and happy with the process.
New job arrives – we match your details with the client's requirements.
We contact you to offer an assignment. We will advise of all job details including pay. You are under no obligation to accept any assignment.
We telephone the client to tell them all about you i.e. your age, pet history employment history etc (no personal details are ever disclosed).
Once the client confirms that they are happy with your profile we contact you to arrange a pre-meeting. The meeting with the client is your opportunity to ensure that you are happy to undertake the assignment.
o Home Boarding will nearly always have a pre-meeting in your property.
o Cat Feeders, Dog Walkers or Home Sitters will always go to the clients property.
At the meeting the client will complete and provide you with a form called "Briefing the Guardian Angel". This form has all the information you may need about the client and their pets. i.e. emergency details, who has the spare key, when to walk or feed the dog/cat. Following the pre-meeting we contact you to discuss the outcome of your meeting.
We then contact the client to confirm that they are happy with you.
Ten days prior to the commencement of the assignment we will contact you as a reminder.
You are paid for all assignments at the end of each month.
4. What do you have to do?
What do I do as a Home Sitter?
Essentially you stay in other people‘s homes and look after their pets and possessions whilst they are away. You simply live in their home, love, walk, feed, and groom their pets, maintain light household duties i.e. water house plants and answer the phone. You do NOT undertake any labour work. If there is a jacuzzi, swimming pool or gym, providing we have the permission from the client, you are free to use their facilities. Any time that you are not carrying out your pet associated duties, you are free to remain on the client‘s premises or explore the local area. We request that you do not exceed any period away from the client‘s property for more than six hours per day (usually 2 x three non-consecutive hours) during daylight and one hour after dark unless prior permission has been agreed with the client.
What do I do as a Pet Boarder?
Essentially you look after our client‘s pet/s in YOUR home. The client will provide the food, the bedding and toys etc; all you have to do is love, walk, feed & groom the pet/s essentially you maintain their routines. You are simply paid to provide grooming, feeding, watering, walking, and most of all, tender loving care whilst the pet lives in your home. What do I do as a Cat Feeder / Dog Walker? Usually dog walking or cat feeding; essentially you look after our client‘s pet/s in their own homes. Pet Visitors are expected to undertake no more than one hour‘s responsibilities during each visit. You visit the client‘s home (which maintains security) and you simply feed and provide water to pets, clear / change litter, take dog/s for a walk (as per the clients specification), and most of all, provide companionship and tender loving care. You may additionally be requested to close and open curtains / blinds, take in the mail / newspapers, lights on and off.
You are Assured
Using our ‘Briefing the Pet Angel‘ form, the client will provide you with all important information for pet care and emergency action. Thus you can be assured that in the event of anything happening you will have complete and concise instructions of what to do in the event that you can not contact the client. You may take your partner or spouse with you on your assignment provided they have completed the vetting process beforehand and that the client has given their permission.
5. Areas of Cover
We are currently expanding the company at an incredible rate and as such we are recruiting nationally; however, work in some areas is at the moment slower than other areas.
6. Our Requirements
You must be an existing or previous pet owner.
You must have a reasonable level of fitness and good health.
We require a Criminal Records Disclosure for all our cat feeders, dog walkers and home sitters.
We will contact previous employers for references.
Your previous levels of responsibility will be also taken into consideration.
